Tassili Business Tech Solutions (also referred to as “Tassili”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is an Algerian technology business and is responsible for the personal information described in this policy.

2. Scope of this policy

This policy applies to tassilibts.com, its English, French and Arabic pages, and information submitted through the site’s contact, consultation and recruitment features. A separate agreement or policy may apply to a future Tassili platform, client project, employee relationship or service that processes different information.

3. Information we collect

• Contact and consultation information: your name, organisation, email address, phone number, city or wilaya, organisation type, service requested, preferred language and contact method, estimated timescale, project details and message.
• Recruitment information: your identity and contact details, CV, education and work history, portfolio or professional links, answers to application questions and correspondence about a role.
• Communications: information you choose to send by email, telephone or WhatsApp.
• Technical and security information: IP address, browser and device information, request times, error records and server or security logs generated when the website is used.
• Cookie information: cookies needed for WordPress administration, sessions, language, security and other features you request.

Please do not send passwords, payment-card details, health information, national identity documents or other sensitive information through a general enquiry form unless we specifically request it through an appropriate secure process.

4. Why we use this information

• to respond to enquiries and requests for a consultation or quotation;
• to understand requirements, prepare proposals and take steps requested before entering into an agreement;
• to review job applications and communicate with candidates;
• to operate, protect, troubleshoot and improve the website;
• to prevent misuse and maintain business and information security;
• to keep records and meet legal, regulatory, accounting or contractual obligations; and
• for another purpose you have clearly agreed to.

Depending on the situation, processing is based on your consent, steps requested before a contract, performance of a contract, a legal obligation or a legitimate operational need permitted by applicable law. You may withdraw consent at any time where consent is the basis; this does not affect earlier lawful processing.

5. Cookies and similar technology

The current website uses cookies and local storage only where needed to deliver requested functionality, administer WordPress, remember relevant settings and protect the service. We do not currently add advertising pixels, behavioural remarketing, session-recording tools or cross-site advertising trackers.

If we introduce non-essential analytics or marketing technology, we will update this policy and provide any notice or choice required by law before using it.

6. When information is shared

We may use carefully selected service providers for website hosting, business email, security, backups, technical support and recruitment administration. They receive only the information reasonably needed for their role and are expected to protect it. We may also disclose information to professional advisers, regulators, courts or public authorities when required or permitted by law, or when necessary to protect rights, safety and security.

We do not sell or rent your personal information.

7. Processing outside Algeria

Some technology providers may store or process information in other countries. Where a cross-border transfer occurs, Tassili will use the contracts, safeguards, permissions or authorisations required by applicable Algerian data-protection law and will limit the information transferred to what is necessary.

8. How long information is kept

We keep information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected, an active business or recruitment relationship, dispute handling, security, or a legal and accounting requirement. Retention periods vary by record type. Information that is no longer required is deleted, anonymised or securely archived where continued retention is legally required.

9. Security

We use proportionate administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including controlled access, account security, transport encryption where available, updates, backups and service monitoring. No internet transmission or storage method is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

10. Your rights

Subject to applicable Algerian law, you may have the right to be informed about processing and to request access, correction or updating of your personal information, and to object to certain processing. Where applicable, you may also ask for deletion or withdraw consent.

To make a request, email info@tassilibts.com and describe the information or processing concerned. We may ask for reasonable proof of identity before acting on a request. You may also contact Algeria’s National Authority for the Protection of Personal Data (ANPDP) through its official rights and complaints portal.

11. Children

This corporate website is intended for organisations, professionals, partners and job applicants. It is not designed for children, and we do not knowingly request personal information from children through the general contact or recruitment forms.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the website, our services or legal requirements change. The date above will be updated, and significant changes will be highlighted where appropriate.
